In our political climate today, where the only choice seems to be sharp-edged, angry, bellowing candidates, I am pleased to say that in the race for Maine House District 76 we now have a solution — Tamara Hoke.
Tamara is a soft-spoken, unassuming, humble individual, yet balanced by her intelligence, commitment and desire to make a difference.
She demonstrates these qualities in how she has served our community as the director of the Jay-Niles Memorial Library. She has expanded programs there, servicing the needs of all ages with vigorous dedication.
I value her as a great neighbor, strong leader and humanitarian. I think she would make a great choice for our district.
I hope people join me in November and vote for Tamara Hoke.
