LEWISTON — Meghan Graff scored 28 points to lead the Bates College women’s basketball team to an 86-63 win at home over St. Joseph’s on Thursday.
Morgan Kennedy and Alexandra Long each added 11 points for the Bobcats (4-2), and Sophie Spolter chipped in 10.
Nina Howe and Jayne Howe paced the Monks (4-3) with 11 points apiece. Angelica Hurley finished with 10.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
BABSON 70, BATES 59: The Beavers (5-3) closed the game with a 19-6 run to beat the Bobcats (3-3) in Babson Park, Massachusetts.
Andrew Kirkpatrick led Babson with 20 points.
Bates got 19 points from Steph Baxter, 15 from Jahmir Primer and 10 from Brady Coyne.
