PARIS — What do you do with your Christmas and birthday money when there’s nothing you really want? If you are 9-year-old Kristen Maikath, you bring it to Responsible Pet Care and give it to the animals.
Kristen saved up $60 and her mom Sarah added $25 for a plastic bag of bills and coin totaling $85 when they arrived at the shelter Sunday having driven down from Hanover.
Their focus was to visit the kitties.
