Sheila Kidder Potvin

LISBON – Sheila Kidder Potvin, 76, died on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at The Lamp Nursing Home where she resided for several years.

She was born to Harold and Grace Parisi Kidder in Rumford. Sheila had 33 years of sobriety and was an inspiration to us all. She had an infectious smile and was always the life of the party. As she journeyed through dementia she still had her smile and her kind caring attitude toward her peers at The Lamp. She lived in Dunedin, Fla., for over 30 years, which she chose for the sunshine and the beach.

Sheila, a devoted mother and grandmother, is survived by her daughter, Christine Arsenault; her sister, Marie Martel, her brother, Rick Kidder; and seven grandchildren, Christopher, Sierra, Isabella, Jessica, Chaz, Jacob and Josh. She also had nieces and nephews, and Nikki, in particular, was her good friend and travel buddy.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa and son, Matt.

Sheila did not want a funeral service. The family will have a day of celebration of her life at a later date.
