
The Wellness Walk and Talk Group began a six-week session of walking Wednesday with the Senior Fitness Walk & Wellness Event at the track at the Hosmer Field Athletic Complex in Rumford. It is one of the outdoor initiatives established through a partnership with the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition and Maine West. Participants are scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. at the track for the next five Wednesdays to walk the track or walking trail.
