Robert Arthur Turcotte

MILFORD, Mass. – Robert Arthur Turcotte, 89, after a short illness, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday Aug. 16, 2023.

Born on Aug. 27, 1933, to Aime and Fabiola Turcotte, he was a lifelong resident of Auburn. He was a graduate of Edward Little High School, and served in the Air Force. He worked for over 35 years as a salesman for C&C Beauty and Barber Supplies, developing hundreds of friendships with customers throughout Maine.

He was a parishioner and communicant of Sacred Heart Church Auburn and served many years as a Eucharistic Minister.

He loved sports, and coached many of his son’s baseball and basketball teams throughout their childhood. He was an avid golfer, regularly playing into his late eighties. The love and support he had for his wife, children, grand and great grandchildren will be cherished for generations and missed dearly.

He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years Pauline, his son Michael, and sister Lorraine Laganiere.

He is survived by his son Dennis Turcotte and grandsons Matthew and Brock of Encinitas, Calif.; daughter Carol Wilson (husband Peter) of Ashland, Mass.; granddaughters, Jennifer Wilson Robinson, Brenna Wilson Doucette, Nicole Wilson Eisele, Meaghan Turcotte, and great-grandchildren, John, William, Tori, Lukas and Nora.

Condolences to the family will take place at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn on Saturday Sept. 30, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
