NAPLES — Graycee Richardson tallied two goals to help pace Oxford Hills to a 4-2 girls soccer victory over host Lake Region on Saturday.

Ella Pelletier and Jane Leonard also scored for the Vikings (2-0), which jumped ahead 3-1 in the first half against the lakers (1-3). Maddy Miller provided two assists and Abby Johnson and Meredith Harthorne each notched one.

Maddy Herrick made 10 saves in goal for the Vikings.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY/WINTHROP 10, CONY 0: Abigail St. Clair and Tarynn Keleher each tallied hat tricks as the Mustangs (2-1) rolled past the Rams (0-3) in Monmouth.

Audrey Langlois scored two goals and Abby Atwood and Riley Smith also found the back of the net for Monmouth/Winthrop. Atwood notched five assists, Annabelle Carlton had two, and St. Clair, Langlois, Smith and Zion Armstrong each added one. June Foyt secured the shutout in goal.

Emma Buccellato made 24 saves for Cony.

BOYS SOCCER
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 10, VINALHAVEN 0: Jesse Lewis scored four goals and assisted on three others as the Phoenix (1-3) rolled past the Vikings (0-1) in an 8-player game in Jay.

Jonathan Hines tallied two goals and two assists, while Joshua Jackson and Myles Godbey also scored twice. Wyatt Foss notched an assist for Spruce Mountain.

Trevor Hogan and Blake Gemelli teamed up to secure the shutout in goal for the Phoenix. Parker Dickinson made six saves for Vinalhaven.

FIELD HOCKEY
HALL-DALE 5, ST. DOMINIC 1: Torie Tibbetts had two goals and two assists as the Bulldogs (1-1) earned their first win of the season by beating the Saints (0-3) in Lewiston.

Hannah Rauch, Mira Skehan and Grace Estes also scored for Hall-Dale, while Delanie MacDonald added an assist.

Chloe Beauchesne scored the goal for St. Dom’s, with Ava Martin providing the assist.

Jade Graham made six saves in goal for Hall-Dale.

LEAVITT 3, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: Maddie Morin factored into a pair of first-quarter goals in the Hornets’ (3-0) road win over the Capers (3-1) in Cape Elizabeth.

Morin opened the scoring with just under nine minutes left in the opening frame, converting off an assist from Addie Twitchell. Morin then provided the helper on Jada Beedy’s goal with 2:29 left in the first.

Izzy Gates capped off the Hornets’ scoring in the fourth quarter off an assist from Emma Beedy.

MT. BLUE 4, POLAND 0: Mikayla Wilcox and Kalie Judkins got the Cougars (2-0) going in the first quarter of a road win over the Knights (0-3) in Poland.

Wilcox opened the scoring off an assist from Kensley Malcore. Judkins scored two goals of her own in the opening period, with Summer Sawyer and Wilcox providing assists.

Wilcox also assisted on Lily Huntley’s second-quarter goal.

Freshman goalie Gwen Lesperance stopped the only shots she faced to earn the shutout for Mt. Blue. Addie Michaud made nine saves for Poland.

VOLLEYBALL
HAMPDEN ACADEMY 3, LEWISTON 1: Ava Downs made an astounding 25 digs to help push the Broncos (1-3) past the Blue Devils (0-3) in four sets in Hampden.

Lewiston won the opening set 25-14 before Hampden Academy swept the next three, 25-12, 25-22, 25-18.

Eva Cherry had seven assists for the Broncos, while Piper Tracy and Kate Adams tallied four kills apiece.

Kaitlyn Shannon compiled 11 kills, five digs and three aces for Lewiston. Nadifo Heban had five kills, three aces and a block, and Ella Gahagan and Mika Torres added seven and six assists, respectively.
