I am pleased to endorse Megan Parks for the Lewiston School Committee at-large seat.
Megan was first elected in 2014 when I was school superintendent. From the moment she was sworn in, she became a strong advocate for students, staff, and community.
Megan is a common sense leader who puts aside partisan politics. She works effectively with everyone to find the best resolution on issues.
Megan is the longest serving School Committee representative, and I know firsthand the importance of having a member with experience and historical awareness. Her reelection would ensure that the School Committee continues to benefit from her knowledge to help schools move forward in a positive direction.
As chairperson, Megan has served with integrity, passion and thoughtfulness. A critical element of her leadership is the commitment to make sure that students, staff and taxpayers are heard.
I hope voters reelect Megan Parks on Nov. 7.
