PARIS — Brynn Bean scored twice to lead Oxford Hills to a 2-0 field hockey victory in Tuesday’s matchup with Bangor.

Abby Toohey assisted on Bean’s first goal. Vikings (3-4-1) goalie Gabby Wright made three saves to earn a shutout over the Rams (0-10).

MESSALONSKEE 1, MT. BLUE 0: Abby Stevens’ second-quarter held up, giving the Eagles (7-3) a road win over the Cougars (7-3) in Farmington.

Mt. Blue had more shots on goal, and earned 12 penalty corners to Messalonskee’s five, but wasn’t able to turn any of those into a goal.

Eagles goalie Adriana Pettengill made six saves, while Mt. Blue’s Gwen Lesperance stopped one shot.

GIRLS SOCCER
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, LINCOLN 2: The Patriots (4-7) scored three goals in the second half to beat the Eagles (2-7-1) in Gray.

Ali Portas had a goal and an assist, while Izzy Morelli and Sara Patriquin also scored for Gray-New Gloucester. Laney Farrar also had an assist.

Miriam DeLisle and Abby Kopp scored for Lincoln Academy, while Zofie Day had an assist.

Abby Joyce made three saves for the Patriots, and Jillian Chadwick had five saves for the Eagles.

CARRABEC 2, LISBON 1: Anna Canales and Leah Price each had a goal to lead the Cobras to the win in North Anson.

Molly Hay added an assist for Carrabec (6-3-1) while Macie Plourde made five saves.

Victoria Babbin stopped 13 shots for Lisbon (2-7-0).

BOYS SOCCER
LEWISTON 4, MESSALONSKEE 0: Jacinto Mavinga and Mohamed Gabow scored two goals apiece as the Blue Devils (9-1) won their eighth straight game, beating the Eagles (2-6-2) in Lewiston.

Mustafa Hassan, Abdimalik Nur and Obed Antonio each tallied an assist for Lewiston, while Payson Goyette made three saves.

Messalonskee goalie Andrew Beckwith stopped 12 shots.
