It’s mighty easy to Monday morning quarterback and find issues that might have been handled better.

It’s also easy to criticize as it makes for many conspiracy theories and good press.

With a mass shooter of 31 people on the loose and so many possibilities of where he was and what he was up to and every law enforcement person out there searching, I believe all did a very commendable job while most of us were in our safe places.

We should be thankful. Every one of them put their life on the line. I’m not sure how they did it without complete exhaustion.

The chaos of such a tragedy was horrendous and all the training in this world would never bring this tragedy to reality.

I thank every one of them. I prayed for them and realize in hindsight that there were things that could have been handled better.

At my age of 77 I can’t recall any project I’ve undertaken that I haven’t looked back on and known I’m capable of doing a better job.

Thanks to all law enforcement, medical people and others who stepped up to the plate.
