LEWISTON — Boston Fire Department and Lewiston Police Department hockey teams will face off at The Colisée in January for the Battle of the Badges, according to a city news release.

The free event will welcome donations and will be raising money to benefit the Oct. 25 mass shooting victims.

Activities, aside from the action on the ice, will include a “chuck-a-puck” event during a game intermission, a 50/50 raffle, raffle items and commemorative swag.

The puck will drop at 7 p.m. Jan. 19 at the 190 Birch St. Colisée.
