DEAR SUN SPOTS: Connect Church will host Lead Me Home, to connect community voices Jan. 27 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the church at 263 Turner St. We will discuss advocacy supporting our unhoused neighbors in Lewiston-Auburn.
Guest speaker is Darlene Conant, founder of Salt & Light Community Center. Auburn Mayor Jeffrey Harmon and Advocate Dan Campbell will attend for for the question and answer discussion.
Light snacks and beverages will be available.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: What a great article in Sunday B Section about the Lewiston High School Mock Trial. This was fantastic reporting on this wonderful team and their coaches.I’m wishing them the best as they compete in Delaware.I know it’s too late for this year, but it would be neat to attend local trials here in Lewiston next year. ANSWER: I know Mark will be pleased that you liked the story enough to write to Sun Spots about it! As far as your idea for attending the local trials is concerned, I suggest you reach out to one of the Mock Trial team coaches Michelle Crowley, Ron Lebel, Paul Dionne, Andrew Boulanger, or Joan Macri.
Call the high school at 795-4190 and asked to be put in touch with one of them and go from there. I’m sure the students would appreciate your support!
