PARIS — Gabbie Tibbetts and Ella Pelletier teamed up to pace Oxford Hills past Edward Little 56-48 in a Class AA North girls basketball game Tuesday.
Tibbetts scored a team-high 16 points and Pelletier poured in 15 for the Vikings (7-5). Maddy Miller also finished in double figures with 11 points.
Layla Facchiano led all scorers with 18 points for the Red Eddies (5-9), and Savannah Green supplemented that effort with 10 points of her own.
POLAND 45, ST. DOMINIC 37: Charlotte Grenier scored 17 points as the Knights (7-6) beat the Saints (7-4) in Auburn.
Thea Thornton added 13 points for Poland.
Charli Apodaca led St. Dom’s with 14 points.
CHEVERUS 70, LEWISTON 48: Maddie Fitzpatrick’s triple-double propelled host Cheverus (14-0) to a 70-48 victory over Lewiston (8-6).
Fitzpatrick, who was honored before the game for eclipsing the 1,000-point plateau for her career in the Stags’ win at Thornton Academy on Friday, finished with 25 points, 11 steals and 11 rebounds, helping Cheverus (14-0) erase an early seven-point deficit.
Megan Dearborn added 14 points for the Stags.
Natalie Beaudoin scored 23 points and Koral Morin added 15 for the Blue Devils (8-6).
HALL-DALE 69, DIRIGO 25: Torrie Tibbetts and Lucy Gray each had 12 points for the Bulldogs (10-1) in their win in Dixfield.
Jade Graham had 11 points for Hall-Dale.
Abby Luczynski led Dirigo (3-8) with seven points.
MONMOUTH 54, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 49: Haley DeHahn scored 24 points as the Mustangs (4-7) beat the Seagulls (5-7) in Monmouth.
Reese Beaudoin added 13 points for Monmouth.
Tessa Ferguson had a game-high 26 points for Old Orchard Beach. Sarah Davis added 13.
BOYS BASKETBALL
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 72, MADISON 44: Jace Bessey scored 26 points as the Phoenix (10-3) rolled to victory in Madison.
Cai Dougher added 13 points and Caleb Shaw 12 for Spruce Mountain.
Ethan Linkletter scored 14 points for Madison (6-5).
YARMOUTH 100, POLAND 47: Evan Hamm scored 38 points in the Clippers (7-6) win over the Knights (2-10) in Poland.
Matt Gautreau and Bobby Wolff each had 14 points and Evan Oranellas had 10 points.
Alex Mains led Poland with 16 points and Nick Jamo finished with 13.
MARANACOOK 62, OAK HILL 44: Elijah Freeman scored 17 points as the Black Bears (11-2) used a balanced attack to defeat the Raiders (2-11) in Wales.
Keagan McClure and Brandon Chilton each had 15 points for Maranacook.
PJ Smith had 15 points for Oak Hill.
MORSE 57, LEAVITT 51: Gage Suitter had a game-high 22 points to pace the Shipbuilders (4-9) past the Hornets (3-11) in Turner.
Trace MacFarland added 12 points for Morse.
Dane Cabral led Leavitt scorers with 16 points.
EDWARD LITTLE 46, OXFORD HILLS 43: Eli St. Laurent led the Red Eddies (4-10) with 17 points in the win over the Vikings (4-9) in Auburn.
Diing Maiwen finished with 15 points for Edward Little.
Carter Holbrook dropped in 19 points for Oxford Hills.
