NORWAY — Norway Savings Bank presented Norway Memorial Library with a $2,800 donation to assist in the replacement of the library’s roof.
The contribution given Jan. 16 is to the library’s Annual Fund set up in 2001 to enhance and improve services and to maintain the building and grounds of the library at 258 Main St.
“Donations like this to the Annual Fund mean we do not have to defer maintenance,” library President Mary DeLano said. “The library is not a tired old building but vital and well maintained. These donations make all the difference.”
