Jane Erickson greets dogs Friday at the Dog Park on Strawberry Avenue in Lewiston. Erickson’s Bernese mountain dog, Woody, right, has made quick friends with Lily, left, and Comedy, a Weimaraner, center. Erickson said Woody is still technically a puppy and gets long walks three times a day. He also gets doggie day care and a weekly trip to the dog park, which she values for the socialization aspects and the opportunity to play off-leash. “It really tires him out,” she said.
