PORTLAND – Kerry M. Hennessy, 57, of Fayette, passed peacefully, Friday, March 29, 2024, at Maine Medical Center in Portland with family by his side. He had multiple bouts with pneumonia complicating personal health problems during 2024.

Kerry was born June 11, 1966, in Hartland, the son of Daniel A. Hennessy and Brenda U. (Boutilier) Deojay. He lived much of his life in California and Maine.

Kerry last worked at Hannaford in Jay, primarily maintenance work. He loved the outdoors to include fishing and hunting and was very helpful maintaining his mother’s farm in Fayette.

Kerry is survived by his mother, Brenda Deojay; brothers Patrick, Sean and Danny Hennessy and Blaine Deojay.

He was predeceased by his father, Daniel A. Hennessy and stepfather, Blaine E. Deojay.

A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Haines Corner Road, Livermore Falls at a later date. Arrangements by Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls.
