Jean A. Moore
AUBURN – Jean A. Moore, 84, of Auburn, passed away on Saturday March 23, 2024 at her home with her husband by her side.
She was born in Auburn, a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Emery) Beck. She grew up in the Auburn area and attended local schools. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1957.
Jean was an avid bowler, a CB operator and later in life loved boating and fishing at her former home on Crystal Lake in Gray. Jean worked for many years at Liberty Mutual and CMMC collections. When she retired, she volunteered at CMMC and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Moore of Auburn; her daughter, Kathryn and husband Gerry of Lewiston, her stepsons Brian Moore and wife Kim of Durham, John Moore of New Gloucester and many grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Brenda; and her daughter, Debbie Blais.
The family wishes to offer special thanks to nurse Kerry and CNA Brianna for their outstanding care for Jean.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 7 at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner St., Auburn at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are under the care of Albert and Burpee Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 253 Pine St., Lewiston, 782-7201.
