Like many of my generation, I have friends who served in Vietnam who are buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

For any servicemen and women who are ardent Donald Trump voters, I wonder if they know about these corroborated statements and many others made by the former president through the years.

“Suckers and losers” he said of the Marines buried at a cemetery in France after a fierce battle in World War I, officials present confirmed to the AP.

At the Arlington gravesite of his chief of staff’s son, Robert Kelly, he was overheard saying, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”

He also referred to President George H.W. Bush and Sen. John McCain, both Navy pilots shot down during our past wars, as “losers.”

What more do we need to know about Trump’s unfitness to hold office of the head of the military and president of the United States?
