I write in response to Glenn Chateauvert’s highly inaccurate letter (“In Biden vs. Trump, these numbers matter,” April 25).

Here are the actual facts concerning the Donald Trump economy and the Joe Biden economy. President Biden has over 15 million in job growth; 3.6 million in the past 15 months. His average gross domestic product growth is 3.4%.

Trump had a net loss of 3 million jobs and an average of 0.95% GDP growth.

To calculate how awful he was, people should look at the last two single-term presidents. Jimmy Carter had 10.3 million in job growth and a 3.2% GDP growth average. George H.W. Bush had 1.9 million in job growth and a 1.8% GDP growth average.
