More so than ever, retirees on fixed incomes are having to put their dreams on the back burner.
Their extended vacations are limited to their backyards.
Everything is so much more expensive due to our government’s incompetence.
For lots of retirees the “golden years” have diminished.
I don’t ever recall when the government helped me working those 40-plus hours; do other people? Yet, they’re in our pockets.
We play the lottery in hopes of winning. We know the answer.
The government is always in our savings until we pass away.
Quoting Benjamin Franklin, in 1789: “Nothing is certain except death and taxes.”
In all fairness, why not give retirees tax exemptions in their golden years.
We responsibly saved and managed our money. So why can’t government do the same?
