Kristen Cloutier deserves reelection to Maine’s House of Representatives.
Through her work with the governor’s office on the Maine Mass Violence Care Fund, she instituted the state’s commitment to support the long-term health, well-being, and resilience of Mainers whose lives have been shattered by mass gun violence.
Kristen is recognized for her long-standing community commitments as Lewiston city councilor, mayor and state legislator, representing constituents fairly, backing policies to support families, and garnering resources for sustainable economic development.
Through her committee work on the Appropriations and Financial Affairs and Taxation committees, she led efforts to address immediate needs — grants for family caregivers, job training for immigrant workers — and longer-term issues like statewide transportation and the status of racial and Indigenous populations. Her practical, visionary leadership is why Kristen was chosen by her peers to serve as assistant majority leader.
Maine’s future needs Kristen Cloutier in the Maine House.
