FRANKLIN, Mass. — Colby Dehetre of Gray has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester at Dean College.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Nathan Miller of Winthrop and Leah Dube of Lewiston have earned a spot on the 2024 fall semester dean’s list at Western New England University.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Ava Cariddi of Gray and Kaila Mank of Raymond have been named to the 2024 fall semester presidents list at Western New England University.

The achieved a semester GPA of 3.80 or higher.

Saint Michael’s College

COLCHESTER, Vt. — Five local students were named to the 2024 fall semester dean’s list at Saint Michael’s College.

They are Kathleen R. Dean and Elsa M. Gordon, both of Auburn; Emily A. Garneau of Durham, and Adam D. Bilodeau and Patrick W. Manson, both of Lewiston.

Students who complete at least 12 credits of classes and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.5 in a particular semester are cited on the dean’s list for that semester.

Marquette University

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. — Ian Lathrop of Auburn has been named to the 2024 fall semester dean’s list at Marquette University.

Lathrop is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Dean’s list students have earned at least 12 credits for the semester, has no disqualifying grades and earned at least a 3.7 GPA.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute

WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester Polytechnic Institute has announced local students who have completed research-driven, professional-level Interactive Qualifying Projects that apply science and technology to address an important societal need or issue.

Ashton Guerin of Poland, class of 2026, majoring in mechanical engineering, completed a project titled “Understanding Hiker Mobility in Many Glacier Through Strava.”

Cameron Walters of Kingfield, class of 2026, majoring in chemical engineering, completed a project titled “The HUBitat Network: Assessing Italy’s Innovation Hub.”

Elijah Fournier of Carrabassett Valley, class of 2026, majoring in mechanical engineering, completed a project titled “Enhancing Higher Education with Specialized Generative AI.”

Clarkson University

POTSDAM, N.Y. — Cassidy Dumont of Norway and Matthew Powers of Turner have been named presidential scholars for the fall 2024 semester at Clarkson University.

SUNY Canton

CANTON, N.Y. — Erin Anderson of Lewiston, a SUNY Canton sports management major, was named to the president’s list honors for the fall 2024 semester.

These students earned a 3.75 GPA or greater.

Cedarville University

CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Anneke Stewart of Topsham has been named to the 2024 fall semester dean’s honor list at Cedarville University.

She obtained a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carried a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Alivia Jones of Lisbon Falls was named to the 2024 fall semester dean’s list at Cedarville University. She obtained a 3.50 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Lasell University

These students were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, and be in good academic standing.

Husson University

BANGOR — Husson University recently announced the following online students earned collegiate recognition.

Margaret Sawyer of Livermore Falls has been named to its Honors for Term 4 of the 2023-24 academic year.

Sawyer is enrolled in Husson’s online BS Business and Professional Studies program.

Angela Poulin of Lewiston has been named to Husson University Online’s President’s List for Term 5 of the 2023-24 academic year.

Poulin is enrolled in Husson’s online BS Animal Care and Behavior program.

Caitlin Kearney of Lewiston was named to the Term 6 president’s list for the 2023-24 academic year at Husson University Online.

Kearney is working towards a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
