BROWNFIELD — Haggard and Cashed is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Stone Mountain Arts Center, 695 Dugway Road.
Haggard and Cashed is a seven-piece, triple-fiddle-wielding, country and western swing band.
It is led by singer and fiddler Erica Brown and her husband, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Matt Shipman.
The band is comprised of Ellen Carlson (fiddle, vocals), Steve Muise (fiddle), Dan Beller-McKenna (pedal steel guitar), Kris Day (bass, vocals) and Per Hanson (drums, harmonica, vocals).
It plays favorites from Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Ray Price, Pasty Cline, Asleep at the Wheel, The Time Jumpers, Dwight Yoakam, Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Dale Watson and a few originals.
