Tim Spohrer cuts thorns from rose stems Monday afternoon at Val’s Flower Boutique on Lisbon Street in Lewiston. Owner Jayne Bergeron said they had just received a shipment of over 1,000 roses and carnations for the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday.
