After Donald Trump came within an inch of being assassinated, he told us repeatedly that he felt God saved him. One would think that the experience would have humbled him.

He claims that he’s a Christian, but true Christians aren’t filled with hatred, retribution and bigotry. They don’t ridicule disabled people and other minorities. They don’t call dead soldiers “suckers and losers.”

True Christians aren’t obsessed with getting revenge against those who don’t agree with them. They don’t encourage people to “fight like hell” or instruct the Proud Boys who are connected to White Supremacists organizations that promote political violence to “stand back and stand by.”

United States presidents are supposed to represent all Americans, not just those who voted for them. This president is surrounded by billionaires who basically bought their way into the next four years’ decision making.

Trump and his loyalists are attempting to take over the U.S. government. He’s trying to eliminate social programs that will leave thousands of people unemployed under the guise of controlling government spending, yet he attended the Super Bowl with friends and family along with his Secret Service detail, costing American taxpayers millions.

Who would have ever thought that America would have a convicted felon for a president? America’s norms and values have certainly changed since 2016.
