For years I have heard people saying that government is out of control, spending way beyond its means, unable to maintain a balanced budget, etc., and that something needs to be done before our country is bankrupt.
Today, people are demonstrating outrage because we finally have someone who is not afraid to do just that. Government agencies need to be streamlined and made accountable to preserve our future.
Why are the same individuals not outraged that companies like Starbucks and even local newspapers are downsizing in order to stay viable? Or that companies are going out of business almost daily because customers would rather shop online than in their establishments?
All of these are unfortunate, and jobs are lost, but it’s necessary for our way of life to continue.
