Last season, the Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland/Lewiston co-op, which also goes by ELPL, won its first KVAC Class A championship and placed sixth at the Class A meet. Nearly every scoring swimmer returns this winter.

Lewiston seniors Gabby Roy, a Varsity Maine All-State selection after winning the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly state titles, and Klara Cloutier, a strong backstroke and distance swimmer, lead the charge. Olivia Sawyer, Madi Hawley, Lillian Merritt, Olivia Casares, Isabella Elias and Lily Douglass all improved during the final weeks of the season, and ELPL coach Scott Morrison is excited to see the progress continue. He also expects freshmen Sarah Michaud and Hope Smith to be impactful contributors.
