Lily Boulanger, Mountain Valley senior, Alpine: Boulanger is aiming for state titles after finishing second in Class B giant slalom and third in slalom last year. She missed out on the MVC slalom title by just 0.02 seconds.
Abby Dorr, Mt. Blue junior, Nordic: The Cougars are aiming for their sixth consecutive state championship this winter, and in Dorr, they have Class A’s No. 3 returning skier.
Haley Marston, Leavitt senior, Nordic: Marston is the KVAC’s top returning Nordic skier and has podium hopes at the Class B state level.
Malina McKendry, Mt. Blue junior, Alpine: McKendry is the KVAC’s No. 3 returner in giant slalom after placing fourth last season. She was 10th in that event at Class A states and 11th in slalom at KVACs.
Ashley Nelson, Spruce Mountain junior, Alpine: Nelson is the defending MVC champion in slalom. She also claimed fourth place in that event and eighth in giant slalom at Class B states.
Elja Partridge, Oxford Hills sophomore, Nordic: The KVAC’s No. 3 returning Nordic skier, Partridge is the top athlete for a Vikings team with some talent this year.
Ellie Porter, Edward Little sophomore, Alpine: In addition to being the defending KVAC giant slalom champion, Porter is also the conference’s top returner in slalom after finishing second in that event last winter.
Maddie Ranger, Edward Little senior, Alpine: Ranger is the top returning skier statewide in Class A slalom after finishing second at states last year. She trails only Ellie Porter among KVAC slalom returners after finishing fifth.
Elizabeth Strickland, Mt. Blue senior, Nordic: Strickland is Class A’s No. 4 Nordic returner statewide. She won the individual race at the Waterville Sprint Festival.
Ida Waterman, Gray-New Gloucester sophomore, Nordic: A Varsity Maine All-State selection last year, Waterman placed third in the pursuit race at the WMC championships and was fourth at Class B states.
