Hunt for Easter eggs in Lewiston
LEWISTON — The Kora Shrine will hold its annual fundraising Easter basket raffle and Easter egg hunts Friday-Sunday, March 20-22.
The basket raffles will feature 15 to 20 large, Easter-themed baskets and prizes.
Two Easter egg hunts will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Similar to the Kora Shriners’ popular “Feztival of Trees” display during the Christmas holiday, this event allows attendees to buy raffle tickets to win large, decorated baskets or large prizes donated by local businesses and supporters. The raffle drawings will take place Sunday. Entrance is $3; children ages 10 and younger are free.
The event typically includes opportunities to take photos with the Easter Bunny, vendors, and food. Funds raised go to the Kora Shriners’ charitable activities. Go to korashriners.org for more information.

The theater recently added another date for the show, which is centered around love, family and getting married.
“When a widowed father summons his grown children home to tell them some ‘big news,’ they mistakenly assume he must be dying (why else would he offer to pay for their plane tickets?!) But Dad has good news: He’s fallen in love and wants everyone to meet her!” say show organizers.
Written by the author of “Halfway There,” Foster’s new “Whit’s End” is about love, fear of commitment, and what happens in a family when someone announces they’re getting married.
