Patsy J. Paquette

AUBURN – Patsy J. Paquette, 76, of Lewiston passed away on Monday March 16, 2026, at the Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born and raised in Fayette on Feb. 14, 1950 as the eighth of 10 children to the late Chester and Frances (Lieber) Hewett. She grew up in Fayette and attended school there and in Livermore.

She married Phillip R. Paquette on June 29, 1974 in Franklin, N.H. They moved to Lewiston in late 1976 and have resided there since.

Patsy worked at several jobs, notably Bourque’s market, Pineland Center, Meals on Wheels, but most memorably Grants Bakery until her retirement.

She is survived by their two sons, Jeffrey Paquette and his partner Helen Eagen of Belgrade and Eric Paquette and his wife Karen of Greene; siblings Mary Roulston, Sally and husband John Baker, Larry and wife Melinda Hewett, Sandra Mansfield, and Janet Hewett; many nephews and nieces; cousins; and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip R. Paquette; parents Chester and Frances (Lieber); siblings Frederick “Skip”, Walter, James, John, and Nancy Hewett.

Patsy enjoyed being with family and friends, swimming, gardening, baking, crocheting, knitting (especially Snoopy sweaters), and playing canasta, but most of all, being a Mom.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated and announced for Patsy in the near future.
