LIVERMORE FALLS — Town officials can now register big rigs, including tractor-trailer trucks and logging trucks, Town Clerk Amy Byron said Tuesday.

Anything that weighs over 26,000 pounds can be registered at the Town Office, she said.

Normally people with bigger trucks would have to go to a branch of the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles, including Augusta, Rumford, Lewiston or other locations, Byron added.
