Colette enjoyed family time, caring for her dogs Brownie and Sandy, going to special places with grandchildren such as sporting events, movies, the Balloon Festival, and family parties at Rachel’s pool. Colette and Marcel enjoyed traveling in the US, Europe, and Disney World. She loved life and wasn’t afraid to do things like tubing or riding the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney World over and over. She also enjoyed crocheting, macrame’ chairs, puzzles, and reading. She enjoyed scenic car rides around Maine, coffee ice cream, and her favorite Oreo cookies right to the very end.
She leaves a son, Robert Martin and his wife Sharon of Turner, James Martin and his wife Jennifer of Sabattus, daughter Rachel Talarico of Lewiston, son-in-law Jeff Barrell of Auburn; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Cloutier, Sarah Fikus, Benjamin Martin, Leah McNear, Joshua Martin, Jenessa Talarico, Krista Barrell, Kasey Talarico, Jayson Martin, and Jacob Barrell; 11 great-grandchildren; her cousin/sister-in-law Irene Martin; her godchild Nancy Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
