Lewiston High School teacher Erica Boudreau walks with her students, family and friends in memory of her son, Trevor Paul Boudreau, during the March of Dimes March for Babies in Auburn on Sunday. Trevor lived for one hour after birth on Jan. 5 following his diagnoses with polycystic kidney disease during Boudreau’s pregnancy. Boudreau of New Sharon is an English language learner and math teacher. Thirty of her students along with 20 family members walked three miles between Lewiston and Auburn to raise $1,300 for research and education programs that prevent premature birth. Boudreau’s husband, Paul, mother, Nancy Chicoine of Livermore, father, Lawrence, and brothers, Ross and Brad, were all part of Trevor’s team.
