NEWPORT, R.I. — The following hometown residents were awarded degrees during Salve Regina University’s 61st commencement on May 15.

Brent Arthur Miller of Auburn, Maine, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in medical technology. Miller received the Kerins Award for Medical Technology.

Kristina M. Ouellette of Lewiston, Maine, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in marketing. Ouellette is a member of Alpha Mu Alpha international honor society for marketing and Sigma Beta Delta national honor society for business.
