SABATTUS — Selectmen will be discussing the merits of having an unmarked police vehicle at Monday night’s meeting.

When town residents approved a new police cruiser, they were unaware an unmarked vehicle would be the purchase.

The cruiser is a black unmarked vehicle with no police lights. The only indication the car is town property will be the municipal plates.

According to one selectman, several town residents have commented that they would not have voted for such a purchase had they been aware of the intent of the vehicle.
