PITTSFIELD — Traffic was slowed Monday and one lane of Interstate 95 was closed after a motor home towing an SUV veered off the interstate and into the woods, according to the Maine State Police.
A tire blew on the large motor home and the driver was unable to control the vehicle before it left the interstate in Pittsfield, near mile marker 144, Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety, wrote in a statement released to the news media.
The motor home was towing a Chevrolet Suburban.
No injuries were reported.
