TURNER — Announcement is made of the engagement of Pauline Mateyko of Brunswick and Fred L. Leadbetter Jr. of Turner.

The future bride is the daughter of Priscilla Lee of New Durham, N.H., and David Braun of Bath. She received a master’s degree in teaching and learning, as well as her special education certification. She is employed at Windham Middle School in the supported learning program.

The future bridegroom is the son of Fred and Lillian Leadbetter of Turner. He is currently enrolled in the University of Southern Maine accelerated nursing program and plans to graduate in May of next year. He is employed part time at Maine Medical Center.

The wedding will be held on Aug. 21 at the Bowdoin College Chapel in Brunswick.
