100 Years Ago: 1922

The Community Mothers club will meet at the United Baptist Church parlors Thursday afternoon. All mothers are cordially invited to be present. There will be special attendants for the babies and small children. Mrs. G. Edgar Wolfe will speak on “The Proper Observance of Christmas.” Music will be given by Wilfrid Tremblay and Miss Amy Tremblay.

50 Years Ago: 1972

A Christmas musical program is being planned for the next meeting of the Art and Literature Club Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Merrill S. F. Greene, 466 Main Street, Lewiston. Assisting hostesses will be Mrs. Joelle C. Hiebert and Mrs. John Huston. Classical and traditional Christmas selections will be played on the organ by Mrs. Paul Libbey and William Healey will sing religious and popular Christmas songs, accompanied by Mrs. Libbey.

25 Years Ago: 1997

Fidelity Rebekah Lodge #4 will meet at 730 pm. Tuesday at the Odd Fellows on Elm Street for a Christmas party and exchange of gifts and cards. All Rebekah members are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 pm.
