The L/A Community Little Theatre and the Lost Valley Pub are scheduled to host a kickoff event at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, for the theater’s upcoming Envelope Challenge fundraiser.
Funds will go toward continued improvements to light and sound equipment at the theater.
The event will be held at Lost Valley, 200 Lost Valley Road in Auburn.
In addition to introducing this fundraiser, the event will include the first announcement about the theater’s upcoming 84th season, “Name that Show Tune” hosted by Justin Morin, and entertainment by Brian Patricks from 5:30-8:30 p.m., according to a news release from Roger Philippon, theater co-executive director.
There will be a 50/50 cash drawing; 15% of all food sales will be donated to the theater.
The Envelope Challenge will continue online until September. As a special incentive, donors who choose envelopes for $75 and higher will be able to win prizes, including gift cards, tickets to CLT shows, and CLT merchandise.
Donors who select envelopes for $200 and higher will receive two complimentary tickets to a VIP social and sneak preview with the cast and crew of “The Little Mermaid” musical on Wednesday, July 26.
