Returning players:  Seniors — Ian Martell (MF), Craig Moreau (F), Donny Hodges (FB), Travis Hicks (FB), Ben Jordan (FB), Nick Jordan (FB); Juniors — Jack Martell (MF), Will Martlett (MF), Jack Street (MF),  Paul Fotter (FB), Josh  Kane (MF);  Sophomores — Austin McDonald (F), Noal Lobozzo (MF).

Key losses: Tyler Holmquist (G/F), Ryan Sullivan (FB), Kolby Arnold (MF), Ben Verrill (FB), Ryan Cavallaro (G/FB),  Matt Kane (FB), Danny Street (MF), Zach Knapp (F).

Promising newcomers: Juniors — Ethan Bruns (F), Nick Rogers (G/FB); Sophomores — Spencer Harriman (G), Jesse Lowell (MF); Freshmen — Tyler St. Pierre (F), Eric Wilcox (MF).

Outlook: The Patriots return a strong group of upperclassmen, led by Martell and all-state midfielder. The team has exeprience and playoff seasoning.  That should make  GNG a competitive club in the WMC and a likely tourney team.

Coach’s comments: “We look to reach the postseason for the third consecutive season. The Patriots need to play and work as a team on a nightly basis in the tire-iron tough Western Maine Conference.” Coach Andy Higgins.
