Turkey beano date

WAYNE — The incorrect date for the Wayne Turkey Beano recently ran. It will take place Friday, Nov. 18, at Ladd Recreation Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Games begin at 7.

Refreshments will be sold. This is a primary fundraiser for the Wayne School and Home Association.

Proceeds benefit enrichment programs throughout the school year.

Eastern Star

LISBON FALLS — Pioneer Chapter No. 11 Lisbon Falls, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Ancient York Masonic Hall on Route 196. Worthy grand matron, Stephanie Dupal, will make her official visitation to the chapter. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. All members of the order are invited.

Meeting Notice

AUBURN — The Androscoggin Valley Square & Compass Club will not hold its Meetings for the months of October and November. There will be a meeting on December 22, at the Auburn Masonic Hall. This will be our Christmas Party. Notices will be sent out reminding all members.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners of the annual club appreciation game at the Multi-Purpose on Oct. 17 were as follows: first: Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry; second: Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; third/fourth tie: Cynthia and Bill Clifford with Marta Clements and Nancy Farmer; fifth: Ellie and Lindy Wigton.
