Scarborough wraps up the 2025 season as the unanimous No. 1-ranked team in the Varsity Maine boys soccer poll. The Red Storm were ranked first in the final six poles, and were the unanimous No. 1 for the final three. They were the top team in seven of the nine polls this fall.

To lock down the top spot, Scarborough needed a goal in the final minutes to defeat Brunswick in the Class A title game. The Dragons’ elite state final performance and run to the the A North title have moved them from seventh in the previous poll to second in the final rankings of the fall.

Yarmouth had to win three consecutive overtime matches to claim the Class B title, including in the state final against Oceanside. The Mariners’ impressive postseason moved them from unranked to seventh in the poll.

Hall-Dale jumps into the rankings at No. 9 after winning the Class C title for the second straight year on a clutch, game-winning goal by Karter Eldridge.
