NEW SHARON — Michelle St. Clair and Bradley Greenleaf won election to the Board of Selectmen at the March 13 annual town meeting.
St. Clair received 188 votes for a three-year term as selectman, assessor and overseer of the poor, while Robert Ayer had 70.
Greenleaf received 161 votes for a two-year term for selectman, assessor and overseer while Benjamin Smith had 92.
A total of 261 votes were cast.
For the water district board of trustees, there were 30 write-in votes for a one-year term, 26 write-ins for a two-year term and 27 write-ins for a three-year term, with no clear election for anyone, according to the town election tally sheet.
