RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Joseph E. St. Pierre was celebrated Thursday at Parish of the Holy Savior. Fr. James Martel was the principal celebrant. Fr. Philip Tracy concelebrated. The altar server was Bernie Poirier. The readings were proclaimed by Jason Guest. Offertory gifts were presented by the grandchildren, Jenna Guest, Nicole Matson, Kristen Arsenault, Erica St. Pierre, Rebecca Boudreau, Rachel Boudreau, Lindsay McKeen and Colette McKeen. Personal reflections were shared by Andre St. Pierre. The organist was Mark Belanger accompanied by the choir. Music selections were “You Will Always Be A Child In My Eyes,” “Precious Lord Take My Hand,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “J’irai la voir un jour.” Pallbearers were Kendall Boudreau, Evan Belanger, Jason Guest, Ryan Arsenault, Thomas Matson and Shane Morales. Military Honors were rendered by the Maine Military Funeral Honor Guard. “Taps” were played by Evan Belanger. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services by SG Thibault Funeral Home.
