FARMINGTON— The 2012 campaign headquarters of the Franklin County Democrats opens Friday, Sept. 7.

A party for the public will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the headquarters at 165 Front St. The office is in the Front Street Exchange office complex, above the Thai restaurant.

Refreshments will be served, and local candidates will be on hand to chat with members of the community.

The headquarters will be staffed by volunteers.

Anyone interested in working at the headquarters or volunteering for any Democratic candidate, including President Obama, candidates for U.S. House and Senate, and for Maine House and Senate may sign up at the party or contact Franklin Democrats’ Chairwoman Anne Geller, 778-6672, [email protected].
