BOWERING — Robert George “Bob,” 74, of Wilton died in Wilton on Sunday, Oct. 14. A celebration of his life and sharing of “Bob” stories will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wilton American Legion Hall, Main Street, Wilton. Out of respect for Bob’s love of hunting, his family encourages those in attendance to wear an article of camouflage clothing. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be considered to the Bob Bowering Memorial Lifetime Youth Hunt Scholarship at any branch of Franklin Savings Bank or to Franklin Savings Bank, PO Box 825, Farmington, ME 04938. The funds will be used to provide a youth in Franklin County a lifetime Maine Hunting and Fishing license which would be in keeping of Bob’s belief that youth be involved in hunting and fishing. Cremation services are being cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton.

HARTFORD — Oscar M., 92, of Lewiston, died Oct. 13 in Lewiston. Funeral services honoring Oscar’s life will be held at 1 p.m. THURSDAY at the funeral home. Graveside committal prayers to follow, with military honors, at Gracelawn Memorial Park. It was Oscar’s request not to have flowers or donations. Family and friends are invited to visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. at PINETTE & LYNCH FUNERAL HOME, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, 784-4023.

PLOURDE — Daniel L., 27, died Sunday, Oct. 14, at his home in Monmouth. In support of Daniel’s mother, a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sat., Oct. 20, at BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main St., Monmouth. Visiting hours noon to 1 p.m. before the service. In support of Daniel’s father, a private service will be held. Contributions may be made to the fund set up for Danny’s unborn child. QUINN — Elise F. “Leecee,” 92, of Oxford, died Oct. 14 at Norway Rehabilitation Center. Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Riverside Annex in South Paris. Those wishing to make a donation in Leecee’s memory can do so at Freeland Holmes Library, 109 Pleasant St., Oxford, ME 04270 or VanDurme Scholarship Fund, c/o Androscoggin Bank, 170 Main St., South Paris, ME 04281. SCHWIND — Richard Charles Schwind Sr. died in Nashua on Oct. 3. Private funeral services will be held at the family’s convenience. Interment will be in the Rumford Center Cemetery in Rumford Center.
