Pack Life again collected cat and dog food for Maine’s hungry pets during their pet food drive in October. The dog and cat food, as well as miscellaneous supplies, was collected and donated by employees at Oxford Networks in Lewiston. “The support from the employees was remarkable and we simply couldn’t have done it without them and their patrons” said Pack Life co-founder Cassandra Manson. Pack Life started in 2009 to help reduce the number of dogs being killed in shelters. One way they are accomplishing this goal is by making sure that the pet owners are able to feed their pets and keep them in their loving homes. The food and supplies are delivered to local food pantries to be distributed to the public. Pack Life also maintains an ongoing supply for families in need and rescue dogs in foster care.
