LEWISTON — With a clock on its website already ticking down the minutes and days, organizers on Thursday announced the 18th annual Business to Business Trade Show will be held June 13 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Last year’s event, hosted by the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council, drew 2,500 attendees and 167 exhibitors.

Calvin Rinck, LAEGC’s marketing director, said businesses have already started reserving booth space.

“It’s the state’s largest business networking event,” he said, pulling in people from New England and beyond. “Last year our farthest person flew in from Seattle, Wash., (to attend.)”

The show has sold out the last seven years. Companies have used the spaces in the past to hold a job fair, introduce themselves to the community or simply network.

“How you use it to promote your organization is up to you,” Rinck said. “Obviously, it comes with some caveats: No sharks or fireworks.”

Entry is free for professionals who leave a business card at the door. Attendees can register online in advance to have a name tag waiting for them.
