TURNER — Steve and Arlene Belsha of Abilene, Texas, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Belsha of Lubbock, Texas, to Michael Bailey of Lubbock, Texas, son of Robert and Sheila Bailey of Bar Harbor.
Miss Belsha received a bachelor’s degree in English from Texas Tech University in 2008 and is employed at Enterprise Car Rental in Lubbock, Texas.
Mr. Bailey is the grandson of the late Ralph and Pauline Wing of Leeds and Margaret and Alexander Bailey of Turner. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2008 and a master’s degree in economics in 2009. He is currently enrolled in the doctoral program at Texas Tech University in Lubbock and is teaching at the university.
The wedding will be held on Aug. 22 at Lytle Bend Ranch in Abilene, Texas, followed by a honeymoon to Bar Harbor.
