LIVERMORE FALLS — The RSU 73 board unanimously suspended three Spruce Mountain High School students recently following action at three disciplinary hearings held on April 4 and April 11.
Superintendent Robert Wall said a Spruce Mountain High School South Campus student was suspended following the March 13 discovery that he was in possession of a scheduled drug and was trafficking in the substance. He was suspended from March 28 through May 6.
Also at the April 4 closed session, a North Campus student was suspended until June 4 for being found in possession of a laptop computer belonging to RSU 73 on March 18. He was also ordered to pay restitution.
At the April 11 disciplinary hearing, a South Campus student was suspended until the end of the school year for instigating and premeditating fights with other students. The suspension is the result of a March 27 incident.
All students are required to receive tutoring while not attending classes.
